Reports were given on the va
rious activities by the respective

raised by holding square dances
during October and November
The club also voted, to donate $18
or one dollar per member, to the
North Carolina Eye Bank for Re
storing Sight. This money "was
taken from the Lions Club Sight
Conservation Fund,

to the people of Hot Springs was
the club's vote to continue the
sponsorship of a Christmas Deco
ration Contest in the town of Hot
Springs. The club decided to give
two prizes of ten dollars and a
second prize of five dollars. . The
judging will be by an; impartial
committee and will take place on
November 22. . It is hoped that
this wiU stimulate 0ie practice of
