Mr. and Mrs. Hendrix, who Were married in 1912. have six children. Thev are Dr. J. Walter Hendrix of Washington State Univers ity; Charles Hendrix of Pompano Beach. Fla; Mrs. J. C. Cathey and Mrs. Walter Bryant of Asheville; Mrs. Steve Richmond of Cherokee and Mrs. Sam Os borne of North Wilkesboro. They also have 11 grandchildren.
