Main topics for discussion concerned Wednesday af ternoon closing dates and parking problems in Mar shall. Both topics are of primary importance to every merchant. At least 2.,-.0 merchants should have at tended the meeting so that a cross-section of ideas and opinions ccould have been exchanged and deii nite action taken. Only 10 businessmen showed up at the meeting. True, these ten men made tentative plans and dis cussed the parking problems as well as other im portant matters, but it is most difficult for only ten men to definitely make plans for the entire town. It is most discouraging to the officers and the few faithful men who try to meet for the good ot our community. Why shouldn't ALL the merchants show enough interest to attend such meetings.'
