1 Lounging Barn
Built For Cowg
By J. E. Buckner
J. E. Buckner of Man Hill has
built himself a lounging barn for
his dairy cows with comfort stalls.
The purpose of these stalls is to
protect the cow while aha is lying
down, from other cows moving a-
bout which may stop on bar. The
cow always goes Into the atoll
hand first. This saves bedding
4ilch does not gat soiled and wet
so fast A low curb kaepa tha
bedding in the stall and the urine
and droppings out in tha allay
way yhich is paved and can be
scraped by a tractor. Mr. Buck
ner aaya this barn haa stepped up
his milking time appreciably be
cause of the much cleaner cows
he haa had this winter. It has
also decreased the amount of bed
ding he haa had to use.
Hot tips very seldom come to
the man who sits and waits.
