DEMPSEY WOODY Correspondent Mr. and Mrs. Otis Waldroup of Maryland have spent a few weeks here with relatives. We were very glad to have them with us again. They are missed very much. Mr. R. C. Ray is home from the Armed Forces. He and his wife and son will live in Hot Sprnigs and he will resume his work at Pacific Mills. Mr. Charlie Finley is very ill in a Waynesville hospital. He un derwent surgery today (Tuesday). We sincerely hope he will soon be well. Mr. and Mrs. Dempsey Woody had dinner Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Howard Finley. Lois Faye Woody was home last weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dempsey Woody. Mr. Ralph Finley of Michigan is here doe to the illness of Ms father. Mr. and Mrs. Lionel Brooks and family visited her parents en Spring Creek Sunday. '1 Mr. and Mrs. Fate Woody and family spent Sunday with Mr. Hu bert Waldroup and Ethel. All along the roads, fence rows and fields, the goldenrods, frost flowers and wild asters add their beauty of yellow and white and purple to the brown and green of tin fields.
