The girls' game was won by the Boosters Club with Carolyn Nix being the star, scoring eight points for her team and two for the opponents as she shot a bas ket in the wrong goal. William L. Lynch, chairman of the Mars Hill Area, made the report at the Red Cross meeting here last Thursday night. County Men Are Charged With Robbery Saturday Two Madison County men were arrested Saturday night by mem bers of the Sheriff's Department after Doug-las Mills, 19, a soldier stationed at Fort Bragg, reported that he had been robbed of his clothing and other personal items. Mills, en route to Tennessee for the week-end on leave, stated that he was picked up art the Madison Grill by two men and when the three were between Walnut and Walnut Gfcp, the twio Madison County men robbed him. Arrested after an investigation were Robert Reeves, 22, of Mar shall R-3 and E. B. Profitt Jr., 24, of Marshall R-2. The two men an' now out on bond of $1600 each, Sheriff Ton der said. The sohlier's clothing has been recovered and he was not harmed, the sheriff stated. Feed Com, Cob And Shuck Meal To Replace Hay Farmers who do not have e nough roughage to carry their cattle through the winter would do well to consider feeding ground corn, cob, and shuck meal to their livestock.
