day. Twelve teams composed the

Olsen Z. Redmon
Dies Suddenly
At Home Monday.
Olsen Zack (O.Z.) Redmon, 57,
former Marshall taxicab driver,
died unexpectedly Monday morn
ing, April 27, 1964, in his home.
Mr. Redmon was a lifelong res
ident of Madison County and was
a son of the late Mr. and Mrs.
Jerry Redmon.
Surviving are two sons, Billy
J. and Jerry Redmon of Norfolk,
Va.; two brothers, J. M. of Win
ston-Salem and Fred Redmon of
Alexander; and two sisters, Mrs.
T. P. McKoin of Winston-Salem
and Mrs. Walter Hensley of In
dianapolis, Ind.
Services were held t 2 p. m.,
Wednesday in Bowman Funeral
Home here. The Rev. Joe Honey
cutt officiated. Burial was in
Bowman-Rector Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Weldon
Ramsey, Albert Reese, Knox Brig-
man, George Penland, Kelley Da
vis and Bill Hunter.
