strate our willingness as well as our need.

sues, already spread to the Madison County Republican
leadership?
3. We are in favor of lining up Madison County
once more with the State of North Carolina.
(a) Remember that each and every industrial job
here in Madison County was brought into being under
the leadership of Democratic County Commissioners.
(b) Not a single industrial job has been created
during the last four years under Republican mismanage
ment here in Madison County.
4. Mr. Zink, how many hours have you spent doing
your duty for which us taxpayers have paid you as Au
ditor and how many hours have you spent in operating
your other business?
5. We are for keeping the office doors in the Mad
ison County courthouse OPEN.
6. We are opposed to closed doors and absentee
ism on the part of elected officials.
7. We are opposed to any elected official discrim
inating against his political opponent.
8. We are opposed to the present Board of County
Commissioners and their secretary, W. B. Zink, failing
and refusing to pay lawfully appointed public officials.
9. If elected to public office by the voters of Madi
son County, we will serve progressively, honorably and
above all, impartially discharging our duties. (Not
just paying those who favor our election.)
