Blanton's Business College and
is employed by the Madison
County ASCS Office in Mar
shall.; She Is a member of the
Eastern Star Vance Chapter 285
of Weaverville. Her parents are
Mr. and Mrs. Arthur H.
Robinson.
The bridegroom is the son of
Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Kyle Mann
of Swan Quarter. He is a
graduate of Mars Hill College
employed as accountant for
Fitzpatrick and Sons of
Asheville. He has completed
two years of military service at
Fort Bragg and Fort Mc
Clelland in Alabama.
Given in marriage by her
father, the bride wore a full
length gown of candlelight satin
and lace with lace appliques
trimming the Empire waist.
Her long detachable chapel
train was also of candlelight

Last week seven people from

Senior Citizens Conference at
Lake Junaluska. Apparently no
Madison County senior citizens
attended but those attending
were interested in or work with
older people.

4-H Meet In Swannanoa
The 16th Western District 4-H
Leadership Conference was
held at Swannanoa during Aug.
M4. The theme of the con
ference weas "Teaching Teens
to Teach." The objective was to
help 4-H'ers gain in depth
knowledge of and broaden their
understanding of present day
problems and learn skills and
techniques which will be helpful
in life and then sharing them
with others. George Joyner was
camp director in charge and
Dick Smith, 4-H specialist.
The classes Planet Earth,
government, prejudice, and
junior leadership were well
attended and enjoyed by ap
proximately 90 4-H'ers, ex
tension agents, leaders, and
guests. Special interest classes
included outdoor camping,

line gown of candlelight peau de
soie overlaid with English net
and appliques of Alencon lace
outlined with seed pearls,
designed with a scalloped
neckline and short sleeves. The
Empire waistline was accented
in the back with a self fabric
bow. Her shoulder length
mantilla of English net was
bordered with Alencon lace and
was worn over a Camelot
crown. She carried a cascade of
white roses centered with a
white yellow throated orchid
showered with bridal ribbons.

maid of honor. Bridesmaids
were Miss Kathy Humphrey of
