Rummage Sales On Saturdays At Mars Hill Ladies of the Mars Hill United Methodist Church are con ducting rummage sales every Saturday frqta :M am 10 12:00 noon at the bunding two doors from the 5c and 10c store on Main Street in Mars Hill. Plenty of bargains for salee every week. Class Officers Are Named At Marshall High Class officers of Marshall High School have been elected for the 1971-1972 term, according to Clive M. Whltt, principal. Jim Baker is president of the senior class; Danny Ball is vice president; Joyce Briggs, secretary; tiBeulnh, WaUin, treasurer; and Nancy Collins, reporter. Class sponsors are Mrs. Marine Goenell, J. Enloe Boone, James E. Allen and Jack C. Cole. The Junfor officers are Patricia Fisher, president; Ben Ledford, vice-president; Lisa Ramsey, secretary; Douglas Dodaon, treasurer; and Sue McDevitt, reporter. Mrs. Fain Sprinkle, Mrs. Ray Waldrop and Coach F. N. Willett are sponsors. Jerry Cody was chosen by the sophomores as president; Kevin Robinson, vice president; Brian Farmer, secretary;" Becky Rector, treasurer; and Tina Bradley, reporter. Coach Roy Reeves, Coach Larry West and Teddy R. Cody are sponsors. The freshmen chose Randy Flynn for president; Bobby Proffitt, vice-president; Paula Edwards, secretary; Cynthia Niles, treasurer; and Bruce Randall, reporter. Sponsors are Mrs. Stephen Eure, Miss Sandra Landers, Mrs. George B. Shupe, and Fred Anderson.
