V 1 RECYCLING PROJECT Members of the Sleepy vauey ommtumy Development Club in Hot Springs are involved in a paper recucling project. Joe Shipley's truck, shown above, is loaded with cardboard collected by club members which was taken to Sonoco Paper Plant for recycling. A special award is being offered this year to the community In Western North Carolina Community Development Program, according to the club s siie which collects and disposes of the most paper and glass for recycling and or for land fills. The purpose of this special project is to encourage both the removal of litter from the roadsides and communities in this area and the conservation of our natural resources.
