and headquarters building,
the provision of training
facilities and the acquisition
and installation of alarm and
communication systems.

Ricker, 80, of Rt. 6 Marshall,
died Friday June 27, 1975, in
an Asheville nursing home
after a long illness.
She was a lifelong resident
of Madison County and widow
of William C. Ricker.
Surviving are two sons,
Albert Ricker of Marshall and
John Ricker of Jacksonville,
Fla.; a sister, Mrs. Dora
Huddlespon of Lafayette,
Tenn. ; five grandchildren and
five great-grandchildren.
Services were held at 2 p.m.
Monday in the chapel of
Bowman Funeral Home. C. D.
Bowman officiated. Burial
was in Bowman - Rector
Cemetery. Friends were

Mrs. Lizzie Kate Burnette
Buckner, 42, of Rt. 2 Mars Hill,
died Saturday June 28, 1975 in
an Asheville hospital after a
long illness.
She was a lifelong resident
of Madison County and a
graduate of Mars Hill School
and Cecil's Business College.
Surviving are the husband,
Dallas Buckner Jr.; two' sons,
Jerry and Dean Buckner of
the home; the parents, Mr.
and Mrs. Ovid Burnette of
Weaverville; and a sister,
Mrs. A. C. McCurry of
Weaverville.
Services were held at 2:30
p.m. Monday at Bethel Baptist
Church, of which she was a
member. The Revs. Don
Gasperson, Islie Ditchfield
and Don Shuman officiated.
Burial was in church
cemetery. Deacons were
pallbearers.

Funeral services for
Dashler Wilde, 61, who died
May 6, 1975, in San Diego,
Calif, hospital after brief
illness, will be held at the
Walnut Creek Baptist Church
Sunday at 2:30 o'clock. The
Revs. Gerald Sprinkle and
Clarence Robinson will of
ficiate and burial will be in the
Wilde Cemetery. He was a
retired member of the U.S.
Justice Dept., where he
served for 23 years.
Wilde was the son of the late
Willie and Lula Haynie Wlide.
Survivors include ther
sisters, Mrs. Agnes W. Proce,
of Andrews; Mrs. Judy W.
Hawk, of F on tana; and Mrs.
Nervene W. Harmon of Union
Town, Ohio; and one brother,
Byford Wilde, of Denver, Colo.

the widow of Vernon G. Davis.
