p.m. Saturday at Union Valley
Baptist Church. The Rev.
Arlan Bullman and the Rev.
Carol Coffey officiated. Burial
was in the Presbyterian
Cemetery. Friends were
pallbearers.
Bowman Funeral Home was

Miss Ola Dooley
Miss Ola M. Dooley, 58, of
1203 South Marietta St.,
Gastonia, died Friday en route
toa Gastonia hospital.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs.
H. E. White, of Mars Hill, anda
nephew, Rick White, of
Florida.
Services were held at 2 p.m.
Sunday at Carothers Colonial
Chapel. The Rev. Ray Loft is
officiated. Burial was in
Armstrong Cemetery in
Gastonia.

Ave., Asheville, who died June
30 from injuries received in a

Saturday in the chapel of
Bowman Funeral Home.

Marshall City Cemetery.
Friends were pallbearers.
A native of Madison County,
he had lived in Buncombe
County for the past 17 years.
Surviving are the mother,
Erma Lee Brazil of Asheville;
two brothers, Craig Brazil of
Miami, Fla., and Rex Brazil of
Asheville; a sister, Mrs.
Virginia Norton of Asheville;
the maternal grandfather,
Jeter Griffin of Asheville.

Emma Bryan, 91, of 119 Powell
St., Swaananoa, who died July
1 were heldat 11a.m. Saturday
at* Kingdom Hall of Jehovah
Witnesses in Swannanoa.

Cemetery, adjacent to City
Cemetery in Marshall.
Pallbearers were Richard,
Larry and David Bryan,
Clayton Morrell, Dewayn
Wallace and Richard
Muehling.
A native of Madison County,
she had resided in Buncombe
County for 32 years and was
the daughter of the late
Stephen Winfield and Julia
Elizabeth Sawyer Brown and
the widow of Louis P. Bryan,
who died in 1928. She was a
graduate of Mars Hill College.
She was a retired school
teacher and had taught at Old
Madison Seminary and
Rohannan School in
Rockingham, which she
named. She was a member of
Jehovah's Witness and her
hobby was painting, traveling
and she was very active in the
JUngdom Hall mission work.
