'Send Me No Flowers' SART Presents Comedy At Mars Hill Owen Theatre Mars Hill ? What does a hypochondriac husband do when he overhears his doctor talking to another physician about a hopeless cardiac case? Of course, he jumps to an erroneous conclusion and knee-slapping comedy ensues as the Southern Appalachian Repertory Theatre (SART) presents its production of "Send Me NoFlowers" nightly July 20 through July 31. Written by the playwriting team of Norman Barasch and Carroll Moore, "Send Me No Flowers" opened on Broadway in December 1960. One critic asked "who would have thought a slight case of in digestion could produce so manylaughs." The SART cast stars Charles Montgomery as the hypochondriac husband George Kimball and Deborah Compton as his loving and impractical wife Judy. The comedy also features Greg Wolsky as Vito, David D. Edwards as Bert Power, H Lee Fowlkes as Doctor Morrissey, and Jim Rivers as Arnold Nash Gurtain time is 8:15 p.m Tuesday through Saturday and 2:30 p.m. for Sunday matinees The theatre is closed on Mondays.
