active part in the program.
This is an annual program
designed to show to the senior
students a cross section of
career fields. The western
North Carolina organizations
who attend and participate
have the opportunity to inform
the students of the career
potential in their industry, and
encourage interest in a wider
area of interest. .

Opens
The Western North Carolina
Ceramics Association will
open its sixth annual show this
weekend at the Asheville Civic
Center.
The show will be open from
noon to 7 p.m Friday and
Saturday, and from noon to
five p jn. Sunday.
Applications for the com
petition will be accepted from
noon until 8 p.m. Wednesday.
More than 40 booths will be
open, with exhibitions from all
over the country. They will
demonstrate their products
and there will be free "in
booth" demonstrations
throughout the day .
Classes will also be held
each morning from 9 a.m.
until noon, taught by two
leading free-lance instructors
