The fitted bodice was covered with lace accented by tiny seed pearls. The long sheer split bishop sleeves were edged in lace trimmed with pearls. The program of music was 'October Show' Coming The fourth annual "October Show", a judged competition for the artists of Western North Carolina, will be held Sept. 23 through Nov. 2 at the Asheville Art Museum in downtown Asheville. This year's "October Show" has been expanded into an "all media " show and works in the following categories will be accepted: prints, drawings, watercolors, paintings, sculpture, clay, fiber, wood, metal, glass, and photography. Jacqueline Mulligan Holmes, president of "Art Sources" in Jacksonville, Fla. will judge the show. Prizes of $500, $250 and $100 will be awarded to the artists adjudg ed to be the winner* of l>t, 2nd, and 3rd place in competi tion. The bride is a junior at Mars Hill College majoring in Business Administration. The bridegroom is a graduate of North Buncombe High School and is employed by Buck Stove.
