CEP Begins 7th Year
The Continuing Educa
tion Program will begin its
seventh year of operation
at Mars Hill College with
registration at its sixteen
off-campus sites on the
nights of Monday, August
18 through Thursday,
August 21. The Program is
designed to serve the work
ing adults who desire to ob
tain a four year bac
calaureate degree in ma
jors such as Allied Health,
Business Administration,
Elementary Education,
Psychology, Recreation,
Religion, and Social Work
Over 600 persons will
enroll in the program this
fall. During the first six
years, 170 persons have
graduated from the college
due to the availability of
the off-campus classes.
Mars Hill College is of
fering 15 late afternoon and
night classes for the adults
in Madison County. These
classes will start August 25
and end on December 12.
The classes in general
education include Biology,
Political Science,
Georgraphy, Photography,
French Culture, and
Physical Education. Major
courses are in Teaching
Reading, Teaching the
Gifted, Economics, and
Social Work. Majors in
Allied Health, Business Ad
