Wolford Franklin
Wolford Franklin,. 75, of
Route 3, Marshall died Satur
day in Greenville, Tenn.,
hospital following an extended
illness.
A lifelong resident of
Madison County, he was a
retired farmer and was the
ion of the late Pink and Annie
Cutshall Franklin.
Surviving are his wife,
Nellie Johnson Franklin; five
sons, B reason, Jancer, Mur
phy, and Otis Franklin of Mar
shall and Dillon Franklin of
Asheville; eight grand
children and three gret
grandchildren.
Services were held at 2 p.m.
Tuesday in the Memorial
Church of God, of which he
was a member. The Rev. Olen
Shelton and the Rev. Carroll
Shelton officiated. Burial was
in the Cutshall Cemetery.
Bowman Funeral Home was
in charge of arrangements.
Services were held at 2 p.m.
Tuesday in Lusk Chapel Bap
tist hurch, of which he was a
member, deacon and Sunday
school superintendent. The
Rev. Phil Willett, the Rev.
Charles Pearson and the Rev.
Frank Plemmons officiated.
Burial was in Woody
Cemetery.

Lacey Janine Kanarr, infant
daughter of David and Linda
Margaret Phillips Kanarr of
Route 1 Marshall died Satur
day.
Surviving in addition to the
parents are a brother, Issac
Kanarr of the home; the
maternal grandparents, Mr.
and Mrs. Luther Phillips of
Kinsington, Md.; the paternal
grandfather, Bernie Kanarr of
Marshall ; and paternal grand
mother, Annie Gay Ray of
Marshall.
Graveside services were
held at 10 a.m. Monday in the
California Creek Cemetery.

1 in a San Antonio hospital
after an extended illness.
A native of Madison County
and a resident of San Antonio
for several years, he was a
veteran of World War II.
Surviving are his wife,
Gol$e W. Redmon; two sons,
Bobby Gene and Billy Redmon
of Dallas, Texas; a daughter,
Susan Heslop of Dallas,
Texas; and a sister, Nell
Henderson of Marshall.
Services were held at 10:30
a.m. Monday la Sunset
Memorial Chapel, San An
tonio. Burial was in Fort Sam
Houston National Cemetery
with military graveside rites.

several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were con
ducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in
Carmen Church of God with
burial in Shelton Cemetery.

Franklin, Lewis Shelton,
Clark Gebtry, Billy Franklin,
David Shelton and Roy
Chandler.

daughters, Geneva Cloyd of

Honeycutt of Mars Hill; four

and Charles W. Shook Jr., with
whom she made her home; a
sister, Valeria Holcombe of
Mars Hill; five brothers,

Weaverville, Roscoe Boone of
Candler and Wade Boone of
Kentucky; 24 grandchildren,
36 great-grandchildren and
four great-great
grandchildren.
Services were held at 2 p.m.
Thursday in Upper Laurel
Baptist Church of which she
was a member. The Rev.
David Allman, the Rev. H.L.
Wilson, the Rev. Charles
Rogers and the Rev. Elmer
Edwards officiated. Burial
was in the church cemetery.
