A lifelong resident of Madison County, he was a retired farmer and was the ion of the late Pink and Annie Cutshall Franklin. Surviving are his wife, Nellie Johnson Franklin; five sons, B reason, Jancer, Mur phy, and Otis Franklin of Mar shall and Dillon Franklin of Asheville; eight grand children and three gret grandchildren. Services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Memorial Church of God, of which he was a member. The Rev. Olen Shelton and the Rev. Carroll Shelton officiated. Burial was in the Cutshall Cemetery. Bowman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Lusk Chapel Bap tist hurch, of which he was a member, deacon and Sunday school superintendent. The Rev.
