pectedly Monday, Mar. 9 at

He was a native of Aldred,
N.Y., and had been a resident
of Madison County for three
years. An insurance
salesman, he was a son of the
late Harry and Evelyn Slater
Dunlap. He was a veteran of
World War II.
Surviving are his wife,
Eunice Krom Dunlap; two
daughters, Beverly J.
Bostwick of Binghampton,
N.Y., and Brenda J. High of
Burnt Hills, N.Y.; two sons,
Robert B. Dunlap of Clayville,
N.Y., and Donald K. Dunlap of
the home; a sister, Gladys
Gimber of Port Jervis, N.Y.;
and eight grandchildren.
Services were held at 2 p.m.
Wednesday in Paint Fork Bap
tist Church. The Rev. H.M.
Kendall officiated. Burial was
in Garnder-Gillis Cemetery.
Capps Funeral Home was in
charge.

County for 52 years, he was a
farmer and was formerly

Drexel Furniture and Jim Pin
nix Mobile Home Sales.
He was a son of Theron and
Emma Higgins Angel of Mars
Hill and a member of Middle
Fork Independent Baptist
Church.
Surviving in addition to his
parents are his wife, Edna
Grindstaff Angel; a daughter,
Carolyn Hyer of Mars Hill; a
son, Summie Angel Jr. of
Mars Hill; three sisters, Vi
vian Chandler and Alline
Angel of Mars Hill and Hazel
Hyer of Weaverville; four
brothers, Rothy and Ralph
Angel of Mars Hill and Johnny
and Alden Angel of Weaver
ville; and four grandchildren.

Tuesday, Mar. 10 in an
Asheville nursing home after
an extended illness.
Born in Madison County, she
was the wife of the late Baccus
V. Ammons and a daughter of
the late Manson and Mattie
Barnett Soesbee.
Surviving are two

Weaverville and Marjorie

Asheville and Mary Lou Rice
of Weaverville; and a sister,
Gladys Stamey of Asheville.

County most of his life, he was

Henderson ville Bi-Lo. He was
a member of Stone Mountain
Baptist Church and a son of

Fisher Coates.
Surviving are his wife,

Greenhouses with 20 years of
service. He was a member of

Church for the past 25 years.
He was the son of the late

Rogers.
Surviving are his wife,

Bonnie Thomas, 76, of

N.C., and had been a resident
of Clayton for 15 years.
