The father of the bride, Rev. Joseph E. Testerman, pastor of the Harmony Hill Missionary Baptist Church, conducted the wedding ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Rev. and Mrs. Joseph Testerman. The bridegroom is the son of Melvin C. Wykle of Whittier The bride was given in marriage by her father. Joyce Buckner provided music during the service. The bride's sister, Theresa Crowder of Weaverville, served as the matron of honor. The bridegroom's cousin, James Gunter, served as the best man. Lawrence Crowder of Weaverville served as an usher.
