SI By Michaal A. Guido Metter, Georgia The world is full of the inexplicable and the in solvable. One cannot go through a day without asking, "Why?" For that reason, a man of God said in Psalm 49:4, "I will open my dark sayings upon the harp." One problem is, "Why did God create sin?" Sin did not have its origin ih God. It is not eternal. Sin was first found in Lucifer (Ezekiel 28:14) who thus became Satan. It entered into the world by Adam (Romans 5:12) and man is a sinner by choice. Another problem is, "Why did God allow sin?" To have a creation without sin would have required creatures without choice^W car will obey its owner, but who wants a car for a com panion? God longed for the companionship of a creature with choice, not a machine-made man, even though it involved the possibility of such a creature making a wrong choice. God solved the sin question by .sending His Son into the world to be our Saviour. But the sin question becomes the Son question, for God gives man the privilege of . making his own choice with regards to his eternal des tiny. He asks, "What will you do with My Son?" One cannot be neutral. It is your move. . 1 Gardner- W ebb Names Freeman Kev Buddy Freeman, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Marshall, has been named to the ministerial board of associates of Gardner-Webb Col lege in Boiling Springs. Whether you're playing accompaniments, duets, or performing in an orchestra, it's the unttfed effort that counts. Even soloists have acquired years of "teartiwork" with their teachers. Whether a performance is being given by a girl and her kid brother or by a symphony society, music demonstrates to us. that no one can go it alone. Music, then, is very much like life. Scouts > Continued From Page 1 this comes from William Hillcourt, a retired national director of Scout craft and author of the most recent Scout Handbook. Hillcourt scorns the idea that Scouting has to be "in tune with the times."
