Homecoming, Decoration Services At Freeman's Gap Church The Freeman's Gap Commimity Church will hold its annual homecoming and decoration service on July 28 beginning at 10 a .m. Siagle Family Reunion Planned The Slagle family reunion will be held on July 28 at the Reems Creek Wildlife Club off Reems Creek Rd. near Weaver ville. Lunch will be served at 12:30 p.m. ZORA HUFFMAN WILL CELEBRATE HER 80th birthday tomorrow. She will be honored by friends and relatives at a reception in the Oak Grove Community Center on July 27 at 6 p.m. A retired schoolteacher, she taught in Madison County schools for 36 years before retiring in 1969. '? ' I Alek Stewart, Jr., ? former 'sident . was awarded a of divinity degree from the Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary during commencement ex ercises held on May 11. Stewart is a graduate of Enka H.S. and Mars Hill College. He is the son of Georgia Stewart of Candler and the late Clyde Stewart. To Address Warren Wilson Seminar Former cabinet member and am bassador to Great Britain Elliot Richardson will speak at Warren Wilson College this weekend as part of the annual Southeastern World Af fairs Institute. Richardson's address, on the U.S. stake in international lawmaking, will be presented Satur day at 7:45 p.m. in the college chapel in Swannanoa. Sponsored by the American Freedom Association, the three-day seminar begins on Friday at 10:30 a.m. and will conclude on Sunday at noon. The annual meeting presents a series of panel discussions on interna tional issues. The association will present itys annual World Peace Award on Saturday night following Richardson's address Dr. Charles Milford of Charlotte will moderate the conference Other participants and panelists will in clude Dr. Robert Bowman, director for the Institute of Space and Security Studies in Washington; Dr. Harold White, Jr., professor of space law and policy at UNC-Chapel Hill and William and Ann Wood of Charlotte.
