Robert Rogers Funeral services were held on Fri day for Robert Rogers of Leicester who died March 12 in an Asheville hospital at the age of 72. Services were held in the chapel of Groce Funeral home with the Rev. Enoch Ball, Jr., officiating. Burial was conducted in the Bell United Methodist Church Cemetery. A native of Buncombe County, he was the son of the late R. Ba scorn be and Lucy Cole Rogers, and the hus band of the late Marjorie Hawkins Rogers. He was a retired construc tion equipment salesman and a member of the Bell United Methodist Church. He is survived by a daughter, Karon Lane of Columbia, S.C.; two sons, R.B. Rogers of Spring, Texas, and Larry Randolph Rogers of Mar shall; and seven grandchildren. The family has requested that any memorials be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society. Paul E. Hunsinger Funeral services were held on Saturday for Paul Everett Hunsinger of Asheville who died March 13 in an Asheville hospital at the age of 59. Graveside services were held in the West Chapel Cemetery in Weaver ville with the Rev. R. Mace Honeycutt officiating. A native of Madison County, he was the son of Stella L. Hunsinger of Nebo and the late Moody Mark Hunsinger. A former employee of Southern Bakeries and three Mountaineers, he was a veteran of the U.S. Army in World War II. In addition to his mother, he is sur vived by two daughters, Carolyn Bishop and Deby Lee of Asheville; a son, Bruce Hunsinger of Asheville; and a grandchild. Ernest W. Rice Funeral services were held last Thursday for Earnest William Rice of Marshall, who died last Tuesday in an Asheville hospital at the age of 55.
