Navy Seaman Annette Pressley,

recruit training at the Recruit Train
ing Command in Orlando, Florida.
During Pressley's eight-week train
ing cycle, she studied general
military subjects designed to prepare
her for further academic and on-the
job training in one of the Navy's 85
basic fields.
Pressley's studies included
seamanship, close order drill. Naval
history and first aid. Personnel who
complete this course of instruction
are eligible for three hours of college
credit in Physical Education and
Hygeine.
A 1983 graduate of Madison High
School, Pressley joined the Navy in
August 1965.
