. . .and time for us to tel our Mother all the things we dkln't
III her during the past year.
Things like "Thank you," "I love you," and "Here, mom, let
me help you." For those of us who are blessed with a dose
Mother-Child relationship, this day wiH give us a chance to say, in
a very special way, the thingi we should have said by our words
and actions al year long.
Thoee who are not blessed wtth this dose relationship, should
try to accotnpfah, in this one brief day. all the things they didn't do
in the other 364. Sometimes we try so hard that we may seem
insincere. But on this Mother's Day, make a conscious effort to
repair al the neglect and broken relationship thot may exist.
Certainly, you may not be able to erase all bitterness and
titenaOon In one day, but you can make a start. And once you
start, continue to mend the fences on a dolly bom. Then next year,
when it's Mother's Day again, you can both celebrate t he joy of
hgyjM Wfft 4 ithtr.
You cm both honcsdy say, "I love you."
