First and formost, I am a God called preacher, who believes the Bi ble "must be" read daily, studied consistantly, believed entirely and lived continuously. Bible salvation is by "faith alone," (Eph. 2:8-9) it brings complete forgiveness, reconciles mankind to God, gives new life, imparts true spiritual understanding and provides the indwelling Holy Spirit. The church is not a building, or any one denomination; but is made up of >11 regenerate persons from Pentecost to the first resurrection, (1 Cor. IS: 52) united together and into Christ the Holy Spirit, (1 Cor. 12: 12-23). As such, the church is a holy temple of the habitation of God, (Eph. I: 21-22) is one flesh with Christ, (Eph. 5: 30-31) is espoused to Him as i chaste virgin to one husband, (2 Dor. II: 2-4) and will be translated to Fteaven at the return of the Lord TerrelV. Witherrite Chaplain's Corner Jesus in the air. (1 Hies. 4: 13-17). I am a 20-year retiree from the Ar my Paratroopers, 1960 through 1970, was saved at age 19, ordained a deacon while stationed in Germany, called to preach in 1965, licenced in 19S7, and ordained Jan. 3, 1976. My wife, Alice, and I presently reside here on Stoney Knob Road, out of Weaverville. We have two grown daughters and five grandchildren. From February 1971 through June 1973 we had a ministery with a group of senior citizens at Aston Park Towers, Asheville. From July 1973 through June 1980 1 pastored two dif ferent local churches. From July 1900 through August of 1965 we were traveling missionary evangelists, mainly near military installations all over the United States, traveling in a motor home. Presently, I pastor the Bartlett Arms Community Church, a small group of senior citizens in Asheville. My wife and I go to the Buncombe County Jail weekly to minister to those interested. I am a bibical counseler and health products dealer, ministering to "The Whole Body" by making myself available as needed and as directed by the Lord.
