Given in marriage by her father,
the bride wore a white silk gown with
a v-neckline. Lace and pearl* enhanc
ed the gown's bodice. The cathedral
lenght train had scattered cut-outs of
lace appliques. The headpiece was
designed by the bride with waltz
length veiling

Mr. and Mrs. Cline Fowler of Route 1, Hot Springs, have an
nounced the engagement of their daughter, Donna Lucinda
Fowler, to Roger Douglas Hyatt, son of Mr. and Mrs. Roger
Hyatt of Robbinsville. The bride-elect is employed by Union
County Schools as a chemistry teacher at Forest Hills High
School. The future bridegroom is employed by Teledyne
Allvac as a supervisor in the rotary forge department. The
wedding is planned for 3 p.m. July 24 at Lake Junaluska Bap
tist Church, Waynesville.
