False Statements Denied. To oar Customers and Public : Our attention has beer. ,.-ιΙΙ.Μ I» >v ^voncoiis statements re nrdioi (8ofoaeo) or Florida Soft Phosphate as sold by the Seminole Phosphate Company of Croom, Fla. We understand that Mr. Rawlins who was formerly with our Com Cf but now with the Acme Phosphate Company has made the foltow statements regarding Sofosco. To-wit: That the Seminole phos phate Company, who have been doing κ good business in this sec tion for the past two years, arc now mixing their Soft Phosphate with rock so as to increase percentage aad make u cheaper product. This ta a plain falsehood.. We have never out ont anything but high grade soft phosphate, with a guaranteed analysis of not less thftn 26 per cent W« have been in thia business for over IS years and we are «till putting out tha same guaranteed product. Mr. Rawlins further states that the Seminole people do net own Ihclr property ur l have beet: enjoined from doing business i>nd will not be able to deliver goods. This is another falae statement, as we have recently put in more than ($80,000) thirty thousand dollars in new machinery in order to increase our output. Soft Phosphate is fouiui in pockets or veins and cannot be selected only by hand consequently melting the cost higher. W· know nothing of the Aime Phosphate Co . Their procduet is new, this being the first season on the market but we understand they are mining their product by steam shovels if so they can not put out a high grade soft phosphate, because they will get sand and gravel in We do not or will not knock our competitor· and we have no pa tience with a competitor who wilfully and knowingly allow· it* repre sentative to so out and make erroneous statements and sell their good· on the reputation of another company's product. The representative of the Acme Phosphate Company is claiming that his goods are the ι Seminole, which is untrue as the Seminole Company puts out a higher grade of goods. Soft Fho*phute tut sold by the Seminole Co. is BO experiment, while the socalled Soft Phosphate sold by the Acme Phosphate Company has never been tried. We wish to wo.rn the public that the ubove claims made by the Acme représentative Is untrue and that our product is in a higher elasa in an alyais and has proved to be one of the best sources of phosphoric acid on the market. We will appreciate your business in the future as well as in the past Respectfully, W. D. BARNES, Local Agent. J. R. YORK, Special Agent of North Carolina.
