Mrs. Fry suffered a stroke of paralysis last March while in Florida. She was brought home and later sent to the Carolina Hos pital for treatment, but failed to re cover. - j ; N . Mrs. Fry was Miss Annie Shields before her marriage, and was born and raised in Moore ' county. She married Mr. Jim Fry, of . Carthage, who died several years ago. She was devoted member of the Carthage Methodist church and was one of the well-knowii characters of the com munity in which she lived. ' , The funeral services were held on Saturday afternoon at "4 o'clock in the Methodist Church by Rev. G. -Vf. Perry. 'The interment took place in Cross Hill cemetery. S v . : I Mrs. Fry leaves one daughter, Mrs. A.
