The opening of our Waynesville Office, Smatners Building, Mam Street,
adjoining Alexander s Drug Company.
After a thorough investigation of Waynesville, her resources, scenic heauty, ideal location,
climatic advantages, normal growth and natural appeal to outside interests, we have decided to
open this office to serve Waynesville and to co-operate with other offices and agencies which
we now maintain througout North and South Carolina and Florida.
The Pinnix Devlopment Corporation and the associate company, Pinnix Land Cpjnpany, .Inc.,
have operated for ten years throughout Virginia, North and South Carolina and Florida,
handling subdivisions and developments amounting to approximately $1,000,000.00 a year.
Our Brevard office was opened June 15th last year and handled over $800,000.00 worth of
Transylvania County property prior to Sept. 15th. We are now delelo ping two of the most
beautiful developments in North Carolina, Forest Hill in Gastonia, North Carolina, arid
Montclove Estates, Brevard, the latter development containing 650 acres lying just outside trie
city limits of Brevard and surrounds the beautiful new golf course recently constructed on
land given by us to the Brevard Country Club. Over $200,000.00 worth of this property
was sold without publiciy in fifteen days when property was placed on the market.
OUR POLDCY
Will be to serve Waynesville as a normal operation, to endeavor to bring outside interests and
capital here, to offer property passed on by experienced judgement, and, if possible, to develop a
property which will offer exclusive home facilities consistent with WaynesvihVs future growth.
Several properties have been offered and are under consideration at this time.

It is our desire to co-operate to the fullest extent with all civic bodies and citizens of Waynesville
for building and development.
