Preaching Service, 11:00 A. M. B. Y. P. U., 6:30 P. M. Evening Sermon, 7:30 In writing for the Farmers Federa tion News, Harry Rotha, has the fol lowing to say in regard to planting trees and the profit is there for the farmer who plant:- them: One p'ec of good news for our farmers of Vest:rn North Carolina, is the announcement of the Champion Fibre Company, that they are going to spend ono million dollars enlarging their paper plant at Canton, which work will he completed within the next few months. By enlarging their paper mill they will be able to use up the surplus pulp they make in their i pulp mill, and this will assure our farmers of a steady market for pulp wood in the future, and will also give work to a good many extra men at Canton. If the Champion Fibre Company show their faith in this section by spending more money on their plant, we should show our faith in the fu tuie markets they offer for puipwood, by planting seedling LEGAL NOTICES SALE' NOTICE OF TRUSTEES OF LA.XD STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA HAYWOOD COUNTY Under and by virtue oi ;he power contained in a certain Deed of Tins, executed by Mattie Turner, and hus band, P. This means more than one acre per day for two men and if two of you farmers who are neighbors would swap work in this planting you would not be out 1 cent for getting your forest planted. If the farmer who has woodland that has been cut over or worn out fields would start planting seedlings now, planting one acre each year, it. would not be long until this same farmer would be selling one acre of timber each year and be assured of an an nual income for the rest of Itir life, ns well as leaving timber for his children to utilize.
