friday to see "At the End of Ram-few."
We follow Highway Ten, so grand,
To Balsam great and good ;
And apples there of Barber brand,
The best of the neighborhood.
The orchard spread both North and
JUUUI,
For the Mighty God, there hath given;
The best of land, and it uncouth,
In the land of the dead or living.
We turn our thoughts to Pigeon Gap.
And so we find there too; (
The best of apples, the Staman Wine
sap, No better the whole world through.
Now come on farmers of Haywood,
While apple trees are cheap;
Let's pet our orchards growing good,
Then, the money you'll reap.
Course hard times are knocking now,
But surely good times are knocking
too;
Of course you are going to ask me
HOW?
Well, let an apple orchard pull vou
through.
Hugh David Justice.

"When I to a girl, I suf

last for hours and I could
get no relief.
"I tried almoet erery
thlng that was recom

nothing that would help
until I began aHnr
Oardui. My mother
thought it would be
food for me, so the
grot a bottle of Cardul

it. I soon improved.
Hie bad spells quit
coming. I was soon
in normal health."

The farmers of this township have
been held up somewhat with their
work. However :hey are far in ad
vance in work because they have
taken advantage of the previous prettv
weather. They are talking potato
planting and corn planting quite a
grood deal these pretty days.
The people of Clyde are fortunate
to have with them the Rev. L. B.
White of Travelers Rest, S.C., who is
now conducting a revival at the
Clyde Baptist church. Rev. White
is the former president of Haywood
Institute, and his manv friends have
extended a welcoming hand back to
Clyde to deliver God's Great Message
to them.
Mr. Glenn McCracken of Fines

In order to quiet rumors that are
leing circulated in the White Oak
community of Haywood county that
I mistreated my wife prior to her
death last Decemlnr, I wish to sta'e
that I have a certified statement from
the physician that attended and
treated her during her illness which
reads as follows :
"This is to certify that I saw ami
treated Mrs. W. J. Campbell, and saw
no evidence of any violence. The
cause of her death was Cereberal
Herorage.
Siirivd J. H. Hue, M. IV

I have the above statements in my
possession to show that. I am not
the type of man that Jived such a
life to be guilty of such absurd in
sinuations. My past will bear rigid
investigation.
