Clark, Misses Wilms Hoyle and Mattie K. Clark, and Messrs. Lee Grant, Rufus and Louie Clark visited the setter's father. Mr. Jerry Clark, of Johnson City, Tenn. Sunday. A Teachers'' Trainirj C!as was conducted at the Presbyterian church last week. Two hour eRsion were held each night, beginning Monday c osing Friday. The clas-i was taught by Dr. John J. Fix, of Bristol, Tenn., who is director of Religious Educa tion in the Synod of Appalachian The class was attended by several rom the WaynesVil'e . Prebyterian church and the following received certificates: , Mrs. M. G. Stamey and Misses Lois Harrold, Margaret Rus sell, and Frances Rose. Those from Hazelwood church re ceiving certificates were: Misses Kate Walls, Ruth Sunrmerow, Mrs. L.M. Richeson, Messrs. Rufus Summerow, and Rufus Gaddis, arid Rev. and Mrs. Orie C. Landrum. This is the sec ond annual class that Dr. Fix has con - ducted here and he hopes to return at about this time time next year for an other class.
