Without apprehending the significance of the crucifixion of Christ, all the other lessons are mean ingless. It Is not a matter of learn ing lessons taught by u great teacher or imitating the example of a great find good man, but apprehending !!. vicarious atonement made by the world's Redeemer. Christ saves, nut by his ethical teaching, but by his shed blood. I. Jesus Arraigned Before Pilat? (w. 1-10).
