Kirkpatriek was hostess a; a dehgntful affair last week when he tnterUdned with a contract party n Friday afternoon, at the Hotel LeKaine. ShP was assisted in re ceiving her guests bv her sisters. Mrs. D. P. Perry of Sylva and Miss Ro bina Miller. The six tables were arranged for playing in the dining room amid an effective setting of Christmas greens. A color scheme of red and green was noted in the other details and party accessories. When the cards were put away and the -cores totaled Mrs- C. C. White was found to be the winner of the high score prize while the low score gift went to Mrs- N. M. Med ford A salad course was served as the concluding feature of the enter tainment.
