in Waynesville, is the taxpayers only hope for an immediate
and certain relief , I strenuou sly oppose expending the peo

necessity.
To the above I pledge myself and my efforts, soliciting
the aid of mv friends and fellow Democrats in my effort

MY RECORD
TO GUIDE
YOU
I solicit the support of Haywood county vot
ers in the Democratic primary. I ask for your vote
on the basis of my past record for there is no bet
ter way of choosing than by considering past ser
vice. I have faithfully discharged the duties of
the sheriff's office in trying times and have devot
ed all my time and efforts to enforcing the law and
performing every duty prescribed by the laws of
the state.
There is a wise proverb which advises one,
in homely wording, not to change horses in the
middle of the stream. In my heart I believe the
good people of Haywood county will endorse my
record as sheriff, for I have worked with the one
idea of making a good sheriff. If you approve my
record, then give me your support and I promise
to continue giving all I have to the job.
I Thank You.
