Henry: Why, darling. I did my

Funeral '-services werP held at the
home of Mrs. Williams On Thursday,
August 2 at 2:30 o'clock. The pas
tor I- A. Rhinehart, officiated, as
sisted Rev, Frank Leatherwood and
Rev. Thos. Erwin, a former pastor.
The high esteem in which he was
held among his friends and neigh
bors was manifested by the larg
number which attended the funeral
services and by thP beautiful floral
offerings. He was laid to rest in
the Ratcliff Cove cemetery beneath
the most beautiful mass of flowers
ever looked upon.
The companion of his youth. th
companion of his old age and the
children who nursed him so faithfully
are bowed down with grief over th
going of this loved one and sigh,
"Oh, for the touch of a vanished hand,
and the sound of a voice that is still.
"Precious in the sight of the Lord
is the death of his saints."
