Each selection should be made with the person in mind who is to receive it and, as far as possible, something suitable chosen. This does not necessarily mean an ultra-practical gift but some thing that the recipient oan en joy using. Numbers of people in these days are doing without little things that would add much to their joy in living. These things aro not luxuries but because many have had to economize greatly, they have had to be elimi nated. Nothing thrills the average, feminine heart more than some thing to enhance her charm and what an unending list one could mention silk stockings, pretty handkerchiefs, colorful necklaces, bracelets and the like, gloves and so 0n.
