I ititstandiiiK in this held is I. P. Hrown of the I lendersouville sec tion, who lives near Arden. He is regarded as one of the best turners in the United States. Mr. - lirown holds two records for pottery-niakinK- He can turn a piece :.") inches high without puncturing it. The record was 40 inches. As far as he has been able to discover, he has the largest handmade piece of pottery in the country which has not been made with the aid of scaffold, wheel or mold.
