Two candidates waited too long to file, and were left off, and at the last niiunte two who had previ ously announced decided not to go further with the campaign They were Medford Leatherwood, for sher iff, and J. R. Boyd, Jr., for register of deeds. The ballot will contain the names of thirty-one candidates for county offices, and a large number of can didates are seeking township consta ble places. Homer Owen is building a home on the Dellwood road about a mile from the city limits, and in the same com munity Lawrence Underwood is build ing a nice home. On the highway to Hazelwood, E. J. Hyatt is erecting a brick and tile home which will have furnace heat.! The foundation has been completed,' and the house will be ready in about six weeks.
