WEATHERBV RatchtT, former Cullowhee I College star end. has accented a teach ing position at WaynesviHe High this year. Katclitf, who will rill the posi tion of line-coach, is a former V. T. j H. S. student, and was coached by C. h. Weatherbv. While at Cullowhee RatelitT received manv hmiors. anv ef which any stuiier.t in school would j have been proud to elaim. He was president of the freshman class, vice president of the. sophomore class, pres- idetit of junior class and president of was also president of the Monogram club, leader of the boy's house govern ment, and was elected as the best citizen in the school year. In football. Ratcliff was just as ac tive as he was in matters of student government. Last year he was cap tain of his team, and was selected for a position on the All-Star team on the North State Conference, and was placed on the second team of the Smoky Mountain Conference team. He was a regular on tne team at Cul lowhee for four years, and at Waynes viHe for two years. The Dellwood club will meet Sept. : 2nd. at 2:00 o'clock at the school house. The Jonathan club will meet Sept. :ird. at 2:00 o'clock at the school. I The Beaverdam club will meet Sept. 7th. at 2:00 o'clock with Mrs. Llovd Revis.
