Y Hearing a noise in nis cnicKen nouse, Andrew Hunter, 75, seized a lighted lantern and ran for the barn where he saw a figure hiding. Hunter ran into a punch to the jaw that floored him, upsetting his lantern. The flaming kerosene ignited the barn which burned, to the ground. The thief es- iped and all that Hunter saved was two chickens the thief was carrying in a bag.
