I Beacon Mills Fall I Hazelwood Meets Under Heavy Hitting1 Red Oak Saturday Of 3Ianufacturers 0n Home Grounds Hazelwood Team Starts Offi Second Half Of Season With 100 Per Cent Wins The Hazelwood Manufacturers came out on top of a nine to four score against the Beacon nine last Saturday, making it two wins of two games played in the second half of the Industrial League series. The Hazelwood Manufacturers will again play at home this Saturday when they meet the Red Oak team. Red Oak was the team in second place at the end of the first half of the season in the Industrial League. The first game played in the se ries this year was between the Man ufacturers and Red Oak, at which time the Manufacturers won their first game of the year. Collins, Hot Springs hurler, allow ed but eight hits during the game, while Hazelwood sent in three pitch ers to stop the onslaught of the visitors. Robinson, of Hazelwood, got a triple, while his team mate, Wright gathered a single. For Hot Springs, Manufacturers Are Batting .321 (Jlen Wyatt led the hitting field of the regular players of the Manu facturers, with a hatting average of .373 for 54 times at but. Wyatt was third in the team, being topped by Sam Lane, with an average of .400 and Frank Robinson with .388. These two, however, had been at bat 15 times respectively. The team is averaging .321, which is a good average for any team in the loop as the Manufacturers.
