Yours truly, BARBARA BENFIELD, On The Rounds With The Circulation Man Christmas most certainly has taken Haywood county by storm. Every where the Circulator has been of late the birthday of our Saviour has been the chief topic of interest. Beauti fully decorated trees are the order of the day. Town and country. And holiday time means moving time for some. Just as soon (most any day now) as the new home on the . Coleman Francis farm in Crabtree township is ready for occupancy, one round of moving will commence. As follows: The Francis' family will move. Then Sam Green of the Lake Juna luska region (Liner cove to be pre cise) will move in the home formerly occupied by the Francis family, that being included in the part of their farm which he purchased recently. Then Robert Hoga, of Iron Duff township, will move to Liner cove, and occupy the erstwhile Green home site. Charles Brown, of the Clyde sec tion, is improved this week, according to members of the family. Hobbling around this week is Fred Thompson, of Lake Junaluska. The leaders in his right foot have decided to take a rest; hence a cast and the aforesaid hobbling. Meanwhile, his job at the Champion Fibre company plant will be cared for by a substi tute for six weeks or so. School houses appear strange this week. Silent. Queer how much -difference it makes. Incidentally, the Circulator took some time off from his regular duties during the second and third weeks of December to chauffer Santa Claus to the various schools. And enjoyed it. But inso doing, he may have failed to get to some of you folks for re newals as soon as he should have. In that case, any of you who have that $1.50 about to burn holes in your pockets are invited herewith and now to come into the office with the same. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. The gift we treasure most was not given at this Christmastime ... but rather it was given all through the year. This gift is your friendship and patronage. We treasure it most because we know it is your way of showing us that our ser vice has been welcomed by you, and that you value this service. So for another year we say "Merry Christmas to All!"
