FRIDAY, DECEMBER 23, i93s MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL THE WAYNESVILLE MOUNTAINEER SOG ETY. .Miss Catherine Hill, student at Salem Academy, lias arrived to spend a fortnight with her grandmother, Mrs. Charles R. Thomas. Mrs. Fred Yearout has returned from a month's visit to her mother in Knoxville. Miss Josephine Holtzclaw has ar rived from New York, where she is a student at the Finch School, and will spend the Christmas holidays here with her aunt, Mrs. Adora Rayne. . Mrs. Jack Byerly has returned from Peoria, 111., where she visited her daughter, Mrs. J. P. Morgan, and from Chicago, where she was the truest of her cousin, Mrs. Joe Rose. She was accompanied home by Mr. Byerly, who has returned to Chicago, where he will be located in the future. Mr. and Mrs. Ned Tucker, of An drews, have arrived to spend the Christmas holidays with the hitter's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Weaver H. McCracken, at their home at Lake Junaluska. Ernest L. Withers, Jr., will arrive tomorrow from Athens, Ga., and will spend the holidays with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Withers. MARRIAGE ANNOUNCED Mr. and Mrs. C. H, Messer, of Clyde, have announced the marriage of their aiaughter. Miss Bonnie Messer, to A. M. Shulet, which took place in Rryson City on December the 4th. Mr. and Mrs. Shuler are now mak ing their home in Waynesville. Miss Theodosia Find, district health supervisor of nurses, has gone to Sum ter, S. C, where she will join her mother for the week-end. Miss Clara McCall, public health nurse, of Haywood county, is spend ing the week-end with her family in Marion. Howard Dotson, student at Brevard College, is home for the Christmas holidays with his family. Grady Boyd Noland, who is attend ing Brevard College, is spending a fortnight here with his family. Ralph Dotson has arrived from Brevard, where he is a student at Brevard College, and will spend the Christmas vacations with his family. i Miss Mary Quinlan, who is residing in Lincolnton, where she is a case worker in the 'county 'welfare, depart ment, Vvill spend Christmas Day here with her mother, Mrs. Chas.
