Summarized, this new law pro vides: That any duly licensed physician shall, upon request of the woman, secure the required blood sample and submit it to the laboratory. The telephone rang in Chief of Police John Glasco's office in St Louis. "Hello," said a voice at the other end. "I'm H. C. Davis. Has my wife reported me missing?" The chief's secretary replied that to the best of his knowledge she had not. "Well, we moved from East St. Louis (111.) to an apartment some where in St. Louis yesterday," the voice said. "I went out in my automobile on some business and when I started back 1 coulm't remember the address. "I drove around all afternoon and evening trying to find the place, and then went back to East St Louis and spent the night I'm still over there. "If my wife calls up please ask her where we live, will you 7 I'll keep calling until you hear from her. I want to go home." Western Carolina Teachers Col lege is now being supplied with a recently connected water source which more than doubles' the form er supply of water for the Institu tion. This new connection relieves college officials of the fear of an other shortage like the one which threatened the continuation of the teachers' college during November and December of last fall. ' The closing of the college was avert! through careful conservation of ) water on the part of every student and member of the college commun-' ity. Five miles of piping connect the reservoir wun a new wuier shed on Flat Branch which lies within the Nantahala Forest area. The National Forest Service, ac cording to a recent announcement, made by President H. T.
