Two members of the Waynesville police force waived evidence n charges of an assault at a hearing yesterday, and were bound to the November term oi superior couu under heavy bond by Magistrate C. B. Atkinson. Magistrate Atkinson sot a peace bond of $1,000 and an appearance bond of $500 for each of the de fendants, which both made imme diately.
