ELEANOR WRIGHT GARNER Funeral services were conducted Friday afternoon at the Bethel Baptist Church for Mrs, Eleanor Wright Garner; 70, who died at the Haywood County Hospital on Wed nesday. The Rev. Thomas Erwin officiated. Burial was in the Bethel cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were: Van Wells, Thomas Wells, Henry Gar ner, Henry Francis, James Sisk, Moody Farmer, Hugh McCracken and Gene McCracken. Mrs. Garner is survived by one son, Ray Garner, of Akron, Ohio, three daughters, Mrs. R. C. Forbes, of Winfield, Penn., Mrs. Hiram Mc Cracken, of Waynesville, and Miss Collie Garner, who teaches in the . The Rev. S. B. M. Ghiselin made the trip to Roanoke the first of the week. ' : Mr. and Mrs. Marsh Move This Week To Bryson City ' Mr. and Mrs. Byron S. Marsh, who have resided here for the past six years, are leaving on Friday for Bryson City, where they will make their home in the future. Mr. Marsh, formerly with the state highway commission, is now engineer for the Nantahala Power and Light Company and will be in charge of road construction in the area of the Glenville and Nanta hala dams.' Since their residence here th Marshes have taken a keen inter est in local affairs. Mrs. Marsh has been closely identified with the work of the Presbyterian church. They have both made a large circle of friends. One daughter, the former Miss Dollee Marsh, now Mrs. Marion Hensley, lives in Lenoir, and a son. Byron H.
