More than 3,000 students attend
the Canton schools and from the
high schools this week more than
115 will graduate. . This is the
largest class in the history of the
school by more than 20 members,
Mr. Hutchins said.

, Madeline Carroll, a showgirl,
comes from New York to claim
the dubious heritage of an old
homestead she hasn't seen since
early childhood. At first she is
rebellious as she encounters all
the traditions of the old homestead,
but finally the memory of her
childhood and a young neighbor
who loves her persuaded her to
stay. There happens to be an
other young man from the north
who loves her also but Madeline
responding to her environment
decides to marry the life-long
neighbor. This picture, in Tech
nicolor is taken in Jefferson coun
ty of historic Albemarle and shows
all the grandeur of the Old South
ern homes and the rolling hills and
point-to-point hunting pastures.

After graduating from college
Dennis O'Keefe gets a job in a
