SPORTS ROUND-UP Park Streams Open To Fishermen On May The 15th Of interest to the sportsmen in this section and also to the visitors here are the large number of streams that are to be opened to the public for fishing in the park areas. The opening dates according to G. C. Plott, county game and fish warden are as follows: trout, May 16 to August 31, inclusive; rock bass and small-mouthed bass. June 10 to August 31, inclusive. Fishing is permitted only between the hours of 6:00 a, m. and 7:30 p. m. Eastern Standard time for the North Carolina side of the park. In the Tennessee streams the hours are between 6:00 a. m. and 6:30 l. m.. Central Standard time. The following streams in the park urea located in Haywood coun ty will be open; Big Creek, below Gunter Fork, below McGinty Creek; Catalooehee Creek, below Palmer Creek; Rough Fork, below Horse Creek. In Swain county the following streams will be oonod: Oconaluftee River, main stream below Bradley Fork, left folk heloyv Kephart prong.
